Ate dinner with the house and Annie at the Richmond Aux Batifolles.

It was excellent.

Eeeeeeexcellent.

Just ask for more bread!

Had the $39 Pinot Noir, very tanniny, but in a good way.

Also very nice. Went well with the eye fillet+pate+forest sauce.
And the 'Salade verte au bleu' - totally missed the bleu, but the mustard seeds were tasty.

Asked for 'medium', and was nearly too done. Just a little more than pink in the middle.

Profiteroles were disappointing, but the tarte tartin was AMAZING. I'm not a fan of creme brulee, but the table seemed to like it, but not as much as the tarte tartin.

Liked that it was classy, but not in the startched-white-tablecloth way. The staff were very helpful.

Would totally go there again, just avoiding the hot chocolate and the profiteroles.
