Here goes the seemingly-obligatory-PAF-post

I had never truly appreciated just how moronic the entirety of MLC is - I knew that stupid was a good word, but I hadn't grasped the extent to which this understated the situation.
Krome house, in particular, is stuffed full of some of the most INCOMPETENT people I have ever had the misfortune to encounter IN MY LIFE.

For all the cues I had to say
For all the songs you made me play
For the three se-econd C-D track gap
For the first spotlight that I attacked
And the second spot on the back...
We won the award... because we're morons...

For all the wrong numbers you said
For the screaming into my head(set)
For all the insults that were hurled
For all the curtains that weren't unfurled
And your own big head,
We won the award... because we're morons...

For all the headsets I had to fix
For all of the  "CAN YOU HEAR THIS?!"
For all the books I had to take
For all the smiles that I had to fake
And even though...
Cato blew the lights StageLeft AGAIN
I was told thrust - THERE ARE NO THRUSTS
StageLeft was actually meant to be StageRight
CenterStage was maent to be StageRight Apron
The disco ball was in the wrong place
The light reflected off the piano
The design was changed half way through the performance
The drumline were in the wrong place (too)
The only competent girl we had was over-ruled by ... someone and told she was wrong
Chorus cues were missed
Dome lights were not controlled...
   untill I took over THE ENTIRETY OF UPSTAIRS AND DOWNSTAIRS
THERE WAS NO BACK-UP CD STILL
THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH SCRIPTS STILL
NO-ONE ELSE HAD EVER DONE IT BEFORE
... We won the award... because we're morons...

Oh, and Lucy's dance... it changed... *sadface*

But I was so PROUD of Bernice and her composition.
It was actually the best I've ever seen Krome do the song/cheer/dance thing too - and I could hear the actors.
The massed singing wasn't all bad either! We were LOUD. Potentially tuneless, but  LOUD.


HOW CAN A SCHOOL WHICH CLAIMS TO BE THE BEST BE TOP FULL OF COMPLETE, UTTER, INCOMPETENT, INEFFICIENT, MORONS!?

lol! That's because you're not at MLC dear!
PAF is the inter-house performing arts festival, and Krome is my house. I was on the lighting crew, and have operated the faders/board for ... over four years.

That's kinda funny about the doctor though!

The school may be the best, but it's only because it's risen to the challenge of preparing bubble-headed daddy's girls for their arts degrees at Melbourne. Intelligent people like you are the anomaly, though, so nobody else notices the puddles of ex-brain sliding out your yearmates' ears.
