As if I don't already update at nauseating speed, I am back.
BUT... this time I have a coat! Yes, a real, live, functioning coat. (Yes, LIVE)
It's black, and has a hood... 'duffel coat' I believe is the sale name, but I call it 'pretty coat'.
I should probably go to more of my classes, but they're so very uninteresting. I've learned things about the school blocking system, circumventors and proxies that I never knew existed. I'm still trying to configure the MSNProxy to the MLC system, but I'm sure I'll get there soon enough.
Work is getting rather tiring, but the interesting customers always lighten the mood. Difficult people make me smile - it's more of a challenge to have them happy with the service and their meal then. There are many examples, many. In particular the lady with a German accent, speaking in broken German/English to Irene and I.
Really don't feel that great, despite going supermarket shopping and the eating of chocolate. And Zil is on my lap too. And I have a coat. I should feel better! Maybe it's the thought of seeing the paternal grandparents tomorrow... but baby will be there. I'm also thankful for friendly teachers at school. Actually, I'd like to post some lyrics here. Things have really gone downhill. I'm not sure who knows and who doesn't , but I've just started with my second psych, who is my eighth person for this area of stuff. And I may be not at school for some time if she gets her way. No, I don't really want to go into this at the moment! Just... in case I don't turn up or whatever.

She wanted some fish grilled. Fine, easy. She wanted *THAT* fish - Ling, and *THAT* piece. Sure, easy enough. But... she didn't like that I put it in a bag to weigh it. So then she wanted some water, and she was directed to the fridge. Here she decided that Irene couldn't speak English. Bah. She speaks better than you, lady. But, no, she didn't want water from the fridge. She wanted it 'IN GLASS'. So I went and tracked down a glass, and filled it with tap water. Apparently this water was not room temperature, and was therefore not good enough. So it sat on the bench for 10 minutes until it was room temperature.
And that the fish wasn't the same size after it was cooked - it was 'smalled'. I proceeded to try and tell her that fish shrank when it was cooked (water > steam, you know!) but "Nononono, don't try and tell me about fish! I have eaten many hundred times before."
Heh.
During this time, she complained bitterly that we did not have a table for her, and that "THESE CHAIRS ARE ALL?!" *sounds incredulous* ... here, Irene nearly kicked her out. We directed her to outside, where there are tables. But these, apparently, were not good enough, as they were outside. She tried to have us move one in for her, but we got around that, somehow. So she settled on the only two chairs in the shop.
*Hands fish* .. lemon, yes, lemon. No, more. Don't you have juice? No, right. Salt... NO. Don't you have little sachets? Right. This is just ridiculous! Just hand me the shaker, will you? Sea salt, yes, none of that rock stuff. Cutlery? *hands knife and fork and three serviettes* no, more serviettes. Don't you have anything metal? Right. Fine.
... thirty seconds later...
"This is terrible! It's not cooked. I know I said not too well done, but this ... this is almost raw!"
(really, it wasn't. So it was put back on the grill. She was given more water. And the fish was returned to her)
"I can't believe this! This fish... it's like rubber. The consistency is wrong. "
"This is usually the texture of Ling..."
"NO! Don't try and tell me about fish or ling! I have eat it many time before!... give me some chips. "
So, she goes on to ask for chips. Just a few, mind, on the side. And she refused to actually BUY any. Eghad. I think she just gave up in the end and ate it. Irene nearly killed her, and paid us all extra.

Coming Undone by KoRn
Keep holding on
When my brain's tickin' like a bomb
Guess the black dogs have come Again to get me
Sweet bitter words
Unlike nothing I have heard
Sing along mocking bird
You don't affect me
That's right
Deliverance of my heart
Please strike
Be deliberate
[Chorus]
Wait
I'm coming undone
Irate
I'm coming undone
Too late
I'm coming undone
One looks so strong
So delicate
Wait
I'm starting to suffocate
And soon I anticipate
I'm coming undone
One looks so strong
So delicate
Choke choke again
I thought my demons were my friends
Getting me in the end
They're out to get me
Since I was young
I've tasted sorrow on my tongue
And this sweet sugar gun
Does not protect me
That's right
Trigger between my eyes
Please strike
Make it quick now
[Chorus]
I'm trying to hold it together
Head is lighter than a feather
Looks like I'm not getting better
Not getting better
[Chorus]
Keep holding on
When my brain's tickin' like a bomb
Guess the black dogs have come Again to get me
Sweet bitter words

Customers are FUN. Particulary "Do you sell fish and chips?"
And "One piece of fish, chips, and potato cakes"
... WHICH fish?
You know, fish.
*raises eyebrows*
What's ... normal then?
Flake, perhaps?
... that's shark, isn't it?! *looks incredulous*
Yes!
*looks worried, backs away*... no, no uh... flathead.
*hides laughter before asking size of chips and number of pancakes*

And now, with that done; to cancel out the annoyance of German customers, a story:
First, realise that the German word for "buy" sounds like "become". It occasionally causes confusion, as in the following story:
A German woman walks into a greengrocer in Australia, and goes up to the counter.
German woman (in heavily accented English): Good day. I would like to become a cauliflower.
Incredulous greengrocer: If you really want to, dear, you can become anything you want.
