School... grrr
Stretching the Mind (aka group therapy): I can’t believe that they managed to turn what was meant to be a psychology/philosophy class into a yoga lesson series! I DON”T DO YOGA. I FIND IT STRESSFUL. How did this happen??? And no, I don’t want to tell you how I feel at the moment, so I’ll just say “tired”, and no, I don’t want to talk about my feelings that I thought while doing that particular exercise… deal with it.
Religious Education: a bit of a waste of time really… but it is known as “official email class”, so there is some worth there… I need to find a headscarf to wear on our excursion to a mosque… where do I get a headscarf from? I don’t know…
I’ve missed about three days of school… yay! And it’s the schools own fault… I’ve been at the Melbourne Town Hall… the venue for the Senior School Celebration Evening - the speech night for the Year 11’s and 12’s (I’m in year 10! So I’ll explain why I was there…) I play bassoon (don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it!) in the orchestra… and for the celebration evening thing there were only meant to be yr 11 and 12 people in the orchestra… but there was only going to be one bassoon in that case… so I was dragged along, with about 5 other yr 10 girls… but it was great… orchestra was behind the curtain most of the night… so during the principal’s speech we talked, ate, drank (water…), slept, played gameboy and similar, did psych homework… and so on… it would have been bad if the curtain went up!
