There was something I promised myself I'd never do again.
It's so past tense now that it's not funny. It's like falling into a box you didn't know was still there, and being stuck and inflexible with your knees near your ears.
"I'm good enough, but I'm not there
I'm good enough, but I don't care
The sun is out, but I'm not there"
If anyone remembers year 10, 11, 12 and lunch, I'm there again. In year 11.
"I just don't care
Nothing can stop me now"
So I'm sick. Again.
I'm not entirely sure what brought this bout on.
I can think of a few things, like being able to do extra cooking.
Increased presence of my mother in my life.
Reappearance of a certain someone.
Increased possibility for independent thought and action.
But I conclude that I am just weird.
"I miss an existence I don't even know
My addiction
I've seen the universe in your eyes
I've seen the beauty that never dies"

I think it's easy to slip back into old habits when you're driven to by too much opposite-behaviour (eg. the freedom to cook). If that made any sense at all.
Oh my, I recognise all those songs.

But that was my theory too. Pick a way to cope that matches the circumstances, and hope it's a good one.

I miss talking.

A little. Usually on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. And some Sundays.
