I wrote this last night, but apparently the entry was "too big". Stuff you, I said, and so I try again, now.
Today was just awesome.
And I will present in pictures. Or not, as apparently my post it too large.

See, there *is* purple. I swears it. (Camera must have been dubious. Because I look it)
So I was happy that my hair was dry in the morning. (It IS, look where the light reflects)

I now love RJ Harvey, they are win. They didn't have the length in spiral steel I wanted, so the gave me what they had at a slightly lower price
They didn't have drill, so they tried to find something that would work.
They were about three times cheaper than I expected.
They were an adventure to find, through cold and wet, and that was thoroughly enjoyable.
If someone had tried to stab me on the way up, it is unlikely I'd have been heard screaming.
THEY HAVE BROWN PAPER TO WRAP THE STUFF YOU BUY IN.
So I then got a brown paper package to carry around all day.

I mentioned at dinner last night that Edward Scissorhands was on as a musical, and that I was interested in seeing it.
Father obviously felt guilty, and offered to take me. I think I don't even have to pay for my ticket.
He also took me for a nice dinner. And paid the cab home (ie not a train). Musta been feeling really guilty. Win.
And it looks like he's taking me to see the Dark Knight next weekend too. More win.
And it was really, really good. They did it mute, and it worked far better than I thought it might.
Walking out I felt fantastic. I love Melbourne at night. I love having seen a good show. I love having experienced things. I was *there*, and it was great. It was cold, and windy, and beautiful, and a fantastic peak experience. I'm starting to learn how to trigger these, now, but it usually costs about $70 a go. And music concerts I want to attend are not always common. I thought I was going to cry, going in, actually, because that was my headspace. But I didn't. I was a little suprised, I guess. I did get emotions, though and that was win, because I think that is part of what I was looking for. (ohyesandIboughttheCD)

And I want to see this film, Otto; or, Up With Dead People. It's on as part of the Melb. International Film Fest. This coming Friday, 7pm. No idea as to price. Zombies in Germany, and AND he eats the flower, if that's not reason enough, watch the trailer and see all the innards everywhere. And the apparently random orgy. Trailer here. (or http://www.ottothezombie.de/trailer.html)
In addition to all of the hidden awesome of today, I GOT THAT ESSAY/SAC DONE.
I was really, really worried it'd hit something INSANE like 2000 words at 1am, but it only got to 1000. Huzzah!
Worse is that I woke up at 830 today. Since when? Always, ALWAYS 930, unless it's Monday or Sunday.
Jack threw a hissy and I ended up with a pencil narrowly missing my eye eight times. I was impressed at his persistence with chucking stuff (pencils, erasers, other stationary bits, books, pillows CHAIRS, glasses, coasters...), rather than doing the last three math questions (would have taken all of a minute do to) his homework required, meaning that he could then paint his planet. And then his mother caved and said he could paint if he got his spelling done, and "don't worry about the math, if it's too hard for you." Too hard my back pocket.
I watch customers_suck. Tis a great comm. I just cannot imagine how I would react to someone giving me change from their MOUTH, or HOW they could actually DO THAT. Like this! (Well the link failed. http://community.livejournal.com/customers_suck/25892878.html) No, really, I cracked up laughing reading it. But at Fishy? I have no idea.
