First, my medication of the moment is wonderful in that it works and that it works is better than the side effects.
Second, work is going down the toilet, so far as I am concerned. I started with three shifts a week, then two - which suited me fine. I now have one short shift. That's 10 hours of work over the next two weeks. I am nearly completely detached at this point. I will be hungry and thus in a terrible mood for quite a while. Considering I initially signed up to a position with 20-25h work a week, I cannot understand how this has happened. It's not as though they've cut my hours to save on wages, they're training new people now, and have recently employed a second "full timer" (cutting the first's hours by about 20) ((and who has never worked in food before and despite being there for about two weeks is still totally incompetent)) and a second kitchen person. And about two new 'fronts'. I'm not sure why as the sales don't warrant it - we're not making that much money. I don't really expect for the shop to last out the year, unless something changes dramatically.
Positive side is that it is my mother's birthday today, and my father cooked us breakfast. Toasted bread stick with quince paste, pear and ashed goats cheese is wonderful. And I had a nice, easy and non-stressful day yesterday.
