Quite sick of uni at the moment. Despite it being my favorite subject set, I've missed the last two Mondays (and made all four Tuesday and Wednesdays).
I find myself just wanting to make pretty things. And with the instructions I'd been waiting on for a few months, and the press that took around 6 months, I've got everything but time!
Considering working in the prison system as a social worker. I think I'd prefer to work with women, as I think I could be more help. I think I'd like to work at keeping families involved.
I really hate the current mental health system.
I've enjoyed the changeable weather of the last week.
I am half way through Twilight. Oh Edward, shinyhandsomewonderfulEdward; oh Bella, shinyclumsydesireableBella. I think that covers the story to this point.
Cannot understand why women can not serve front line. Seems entirely irrational. So what if the average woman is weaker, we are not talking of averages. Studies have shown fairly equal pain tolerance between genders, with each gender able to tolerate different kinds of pain at slightly different levels. Still, if you're being blown into different pieces, I'm not sure pain tolerance is really relevant. Teh womenz maikz da babiez. Yeah, because we have such a high percentage of our entire population in the armed forces. They'll sue because their reproductive organs don't work? So could the men. Not sure how this is relevant. Write a clause. THINK. The men will be distracted? Surely you've trained them not to be. Surely. Also, ability to pee into a bottle sitting in a tank with your legs together, with your supervisor's feet over your shoulders, possibly isn't the best measure of who should or should not be allowed to be on the front line.
