Monday... I arrive at school, and go to math. All is good, all is fine, and Studies is ridiculously simple. Yay! And I've realised why it's called that too... it's pure irony on the part of the IBO - *no-one* studies. I'm sure they realised that. It's here that I find out that... I have an English oral next. Usually this wouldn't be a problem. I can *do* orals... I just don't like them (something to do with the whole 'public speaking' thing)... anyhow, I realised that it was on Ivan Damisovishfgtuskch.
Problem 1: I was working with Maddeline, so this wasn't individual (let the guilt set in)
Problem 2: I HADN'T EVEN OPENED THE TEXT
Problem 3: #2 was only a problem because there had been no class discussion, and I hadn't seen ANY book notes either
Problem 4: the oral was on the main character....
but WAIT... it's not over yet...
I arrive P2 at English, all ready to tell Mr Pryke that "I've been in bed for about a week..." and meet Madeline. She hasn't done anything either (she, on the other hand, *has* read the text) And, of course... because we've got the main character... we had to go first. About 2 paragraphs of a CharStudy from a lovely website *somewhere* saved my arse at least. And ... just a little phrase. IB, therefore I BS. He congratulated us on our talk. WOO-OOT!

I think I've finally come up with some semblance of an idea for my EE. Well... a few ideas. MPD, AN, or the Effects of Day Care on Children's Development. Specific, I know. I'm also interested in BPD (Borderline) and Bi-Polar as well though... oh dear.
Other news... I've had to change dancing teacher. This... is actually rather terrible. I was good friends with my last one, he worked me hard, and we had a great time. I know this sounds wrong... anyway. He's left to take up a jazz-ballet position somewhere else. So... now I'm working with Sig! He's the next best... well, I suppose he's actually better, but I'm not very good with change. I had my first lesson with him today... EVERY MUSCLE IN MY LEGS FUCKING CANES. *ahem* I'm in rather a lot of pain. But... it was good. He teaches gold level mostly, so I'm pretty lucky to have him teaching me. It's going to be good.
My mother and I are talking to each other again. It's a shame, but... at least we're not shouting. Shame simply because we don't interact that well with each other.

As for vague ideas for EE - according to Mme Perry, we only really need to lock in our subject with this proposal - you can always change the topic if necessary. And your vague ideas are a lot more specific than my vague ideas were...

Only the subject? That's rather a relief. It only leaves English, Psych and Music. I can do this... I hope.
